Wheels Day

Hi Blogging world. This Monday, we had a Monday fun day there was a water slide, a swimming pool and we also could bring our scooter, bike, skateboard and roller skates. The water slide was really big and long so that meant we could go really fast.  The pool was very warm so that meant we could relax while it was warm.

Best Part Of My School Year 2017

Hi blogging world so this week our teacher told us that we had to write about what was our favourite part of the year so I thought about it and I found out that my favourite part was athletics day. Because I am not fit but I enjoyed the running and the high jump. For me it was fairly easy and for others it was hard. But at least I made it to the final at sprinting. What worked was I did my best and what didn't work was my parents weren't there to cheer me on but at least I tried my best

How To Make A Tote Bag

Hi Blogging World As You Guys Know This Week Is Our Gala So We Were Making Tote Bags To Sell If You Don't Know What Tote Bags Are They Bags That Are Made Out Of Cloth And You Put Your Shopping Inside Instead Of Using Plastic Bags. I Will Show You How To Make Tote Bags


 What You Need

• Sewing Michine

• Fabric Or Cloth Of Your Choice

• Sewing Pins

• Scissors

1. Get Your Fabric And Cut How Big You Want Your Tote Bag
2.  Pin Three Sides But Leave One Side So You Can Put Things Inside 
3.Then You Sew The Three Side Together But Take The Pins Out As You Go And Dont Sew The Top Part
4.You Have To Fold The Top Of The Bag And Pin.

5.When You Pin It You Have To Sew And Then After You Sew You Have To Do It Again.
6. Then You Sew The Straps 

Thats How You Make A Tote Bag 

Reading Slideshow

HI Blogging World, A few weeks ago  we got given this novel and we had to do a book review on it. Our teacher gave us a few weeks to do this and I am finally finished so we had to present it to other people. My book was called frog whistle mine by Des hunt. I learnt that some slides were hard and some were easy because i have done some before. I think I did good but next time I would add a bit more detail as I got feedback from my classmates.

Nicholas’s NZ Journey

Hi This week we were doing a activity about going around NZ on a set budget.  We had to chose a one way flight and either Air NZ or Jetstar. I chose Jetstar because it was the cheapest but i put in extra leg comfort and other things it was basically first class. When I got near the end we had to choose activity's to do in Auckland. Then drive to cape reinga and then you are finished.

 My final cost was $5821.13 

 

  

Mt Ruapehu Camp Booklet 2017

This year the senior syndicate went to camp to Mt Ruapehu. If you don't know what Mt Ruapehu is, here's a brief sentence. Mount Ruapehu, or just Ruapehu, is an active strato volcano at the southern end of the Taupo Volcanic Zone in New Zealand.

We are staying at:  The Park Hotel At National Park
It was really fun because it was my first time on real snow and skiing so it was a BIG experience for me. But the bus rides took forever so I took a book from home and was reading it.

THE CRAZY SCIENCE SHOW


Hi Blogging World, Today we had a science show with Richard and Robyn. When we first came in Richard got a tiny stick man and he made it move with his fingers that was my favourite part of the show. I also liked when he called Abby to hold a leaf Blower and the ping pong balls were floating in the air. I liked it because looked like magic but it was actually tricky science so my mind was blown. I was wondering if i could see the show again because it was so cool and I would ask him how does he make up these science tricks.

Snow Code Infographic

Hi blogging world,

This year for camp we are going to Mt Ruapehu for ski/snowboarding.
There are rules if you want to ski/snowboard so I made an infographic about the snow code and some signs. It was easy because we had the snow code but we just needed to write all 8 and add some photos and back ground. I learnt that infographics are much funnier to read.

Hi Blogging world, Yesterday the senior syndicate got a task to do. We had to make a tent with these materials

Tooth Picks

Modelling Clay

And A Card Board Base 

It was really hard because it kept falling over because, the clay was just not that strong.

What was good about this is that you can experiment with clay and see which one is stronger.

I found out that if you put a lot of clay it will stay together 

and not fall because there is more material to hold it together.

The shapes i used were a 3D Cube and a Pyramid

Overall this was a fun activity and i hope we can do more in the future

Trench Diary

My Trench Diary

	Dead Bodies Everywhere I Can See Lots Of Bomb Shells Because Germany was using bombs and New  Zealand to i also saw red cross dogs finding wounded soldiers on the ground helpless Wanting to survive
	I can hear  rats squeaking i hear can shooting i wish i was in bed right now sleeping  i can hear bombshells and cries of soldier as they on the muddy yucky floor
	I can taste old mucky yucky biscuits because they are really old I can taste beef stew in my mouth because thats all there are too eat same thing every day boring boring boring
	I can smell smoke from bomb shells as i  try to shoot the Germans oh no the Germans have put out mustard gas all the new Zealanders have Put Their gas masks on
	I can feel my gun in my hand with blood on it Itchy every where because the rats and files and also Flies Mud everywhere it even feels like it's in my bones
	I am very sad because i miss my family   I am brave because i came back from the war alive Scared because i wonder if we are gonna have another war
	I am missing my family i wish i was home with them I am sad some of my friend died  but i am happy that some survived so now we're are coming home yay

We Were Told To Think What It Would Be Like When WW1 Started So I Watched Video Clips And

Anzac Day 2017

ANZAC DAY 2017

Wow I Was So Excited When I Woke Up It Was Anzac Day I Woke Up I Washed My Face Then  I Went To Eat Breakfast And Then Brush It's Was 6:00 We Had A Hour To Get Ready So My Mom Brought Me My Poppy To Wear

We We're Going To The Mt Roskill  Anzac Memorial to remember the Anzacs that we're in WW1 and WW2 me,my sister,and my mom went my dad didn't come because he had too look after Nathaniel And Isabel Thats why but he really wanted to come. We went by car

 

Eventually we were there at the park looking at all the people that we're there with coats and beanies waiting for it too start i checked my watch when the people started coming they were holding up photos of the Anzacs in war  some we're crying and some were strong and not crying

Then we went home The End
